Meet the Team

As the Manager of the Hospitality Disability Network WA (HDNWA), Marnie has the profound privilege to lead a dedicated and talented team committed to advancing inclusive employment within the Hospitality and Tourism industry.


Before joining HDNWA in 2021, Marnie honed her skills as the Venue Manager at The Merrywell.
It was in this role that she was nominated for the prestigious Venue Manager of the Year award by the AHA.

Marnie has also held many other roles in the industry, gaining extensive experience and expertise in both Australia and abroad.

Marnie is passionate about leading teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Her commitment to inclusive employment is unwavering, with a proven track record of how customized employment can work effectively and transform lives.

Claire joined the team in October 2023 to support the Tourism Navigator Grant, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to enhancing the capabilities of SMEs in the tourism sector.

With a background as a former business owner in tourism, Claire has firsthand experience in fostering workplace accessibility and disability confidence.

Claire's passion for creating sustainable job opportunities in local tourism led her to a role with a Disability Provider.

Prior to her work in the disability sector, Claire amassed 20 years of experience in various Travel Tourism roles across the UK and Europe, enriching her understanding of the industry's dynamics and challenges.

Claire is dedicated to driving positive change in the tourism sector by championing inclusive practices and supporting businesses in creating diverse and supportive workplaces.

Kirra came to HDNWA in 2024 and brought over a decade of experience in Employment and Community Services.

She is certified in Career Development ,Community Services and Alcohol and Other Drug Counselling.

Throughout her career, Kirra has worked in various capacities within Mental Health, Disability, and assisting individuals in transitioning back into communities from custody.

Her dedication lies in empowering individuals to discover meaningful work that aligns with their strengths.

Her approach blends a comprehensive outlook on supporting individuals and fostering inclusive environments where everyone can flourish.

Vicki began working part-time at HDNWA in 2024 as a Disability Employment Support.

Her passion for helping those living with a disability is driven by having a sister with a disability.

Having lived in Perth most of her life, she chose to settle here to raise her family. Vicki completed her TAFE studies in Food and Beverage before transitioning into the Finance sector where she worked in both Perth and London for several years.

She then spent a decade as a Flight Attendant with QantasLink. After taking a break to have children, Vicki spent the past five years contributing to her community by working at her children's primary school canteen.

Her interests include cooking, pilates and travel.
